Welcome to the offical website of author Dairenna VonRavenstone!

About the Author

Dairenna VonRavenstone hails from the snowy North (Canada) where it’s not all that snowy for six months out of the year. She enjoys reading a good story and boasts a personal library of over 1,000 books.

Writing came as a hobby to her when she was 10 and she spent the better part of a decade honing the craft, writing an estimated 1 million words and 40 stories (novel-length and short) in various stages of completion. She is assured that most of those words will never see the light of day and be burned in a ritualistic fashion eventually.

Dairenna dreams to one day become a professional student, author, and business owner. Her interests vary greatly and as such she has taken courses in philosophy, Forensic Anthropology, Criminal Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and self-studied various other topics.

Dairenna loves hearing from her fans. Check the Contact Page for ways to get in touch.

Dairenna's Works

Dairenna currently has plans for 70 works of fiction, varying in length from short stories to epic novels. Most of her works include fantasy elements but she has been known to stray into Sci-fi, Crime Fiction and Romance. Although her debut novel Tale of the Twinsfeatures vampires, Dairenna does not focus solely on blood-sucking fiends. Dragons, cyborgs, elves, super heroes, regular people, dwarves, espers, and Gods frolic through her writing.

From Fans

No wonder you were published... your use of detail and word choice were amazing. You gave us just enough info to get us interested and intrigued but not enough to give the story away! With all the vampire novels out there, I would think it a challenge to come up with a story that has yet to be told but you did it with grace and originality! - S.L Rayne (via www.writing.com)

Hello! I came across your Facebook page and your website. I truly love The Tale Of The Twins! I've only read the preveiws, but they look like really good books! I can't wait to see if I can get the actual books. :) - Vivien M (via e-mail)

Hello! I saw an ad for your book on facebook and it caught my eye, so I came to check it out. I read your summary and excerpt on authorhouse, and I must admit I'm quite intrigued. I hope to be able to buy the ebook at least (though I'm a little strapped for cash).
Also, I was wondering, is the trilogy self-published? It's wonderful to see so much interest in a self-published or small-publisher book!
I wish you wide readership and the best of luck with the rest of the series. - Rachel Q (via blog)

From Editors, professionl reviewers and others

This is a well-crafted, imaginative tale with compelling characters that readers will care about. The plot is interesting and often surprising, and the world you have created is full of twists and intrigue. All in all, the story captivated me and kept my interest from beginning to end. Great job! - Editor
